Txbvb, who do you see as the limiting factor on team Connoschitz?

Txbvb, who do you see as the limiting factor on team Connoschitz? Well, purely based on my opinion, I'd say Connole. That may be a little biased as I've seen Roschitz play first hand a lot more often. That said, I don't think he has a better option right now, though you make a good argument for Webber. I am not sold on Cook. Fun to watch, and the athleticism is there, but I am not convinced he would stay healthy.

I’d like to see Roschitz run one with The Eagle, or maybe Brunsting, as both are a step above Connole.

Looking back to 2016 Anders Mol didn’t have nearly the athletic presence at the net that he has now. Couple years of the right physical training could go a long way. anders got 5th in a major a few weeks after his 19th birthday in 2016, not even close to an apt comparison

I’m not comparing anders’ volleyball ability to Webber’s. I’ve been pretty clear about that.

just watched him beat tri and john in 2016. he looks pretty damn physical to me. he has grown a couple of inches since then as well. logan is 24, not 19 so he won’t grow any more and will likely never increase his vertical

He’s not a freak like he is now. Glad you’re agreeing that Anders is more physical now than 2016. Anders’ skill with Webber physicality is good enough for a breakout 5th imo. Likely never increase his vertical? That’s just pessimistic conjecture based on nothing vs. looking at his build and assessing that he could get a good bit stronger And possibly improve flexibility/mobility to increase his physical capabilities.

i guess in a world where 24 year olds get taller you are partly right anders’ improvements since that time aren’t solely due to height increase. Acting like that’s the case is ludicrous. I did some digging and found mol’s stats from 2016 U20 vs. what’s listed on the fivb page currently. Height increased from 198 to 200 cm, block touch from 323-330, attack touch from 347-355 (all in cm). I will also argue that current anders gets much more consistent block jumps out of the sand than in 2016, making him consistently bigger at the net as well as peak jump is bigger at the net. 7 cm (almost 3”) is a pretty decent touch increase with 5 cm (2”) being from vertical. There are videos of anders squatting pretty significant weight (3 plates plus) in season while traveling for tournaments. Guarantee you Webber isn’t doing that. www.cev.eu/Competition-Area/CompetitionTeamDetails.aspx?TeamID=9837&ID=838www.fivb.org/EN/BeachVolleyball/Player_DataDB.asp?No=143192
