Nebraska fans only have their Women's Volleyball team to hang their hat on. They need to pray Cook (Head Coach) does not retire any time soon. Cause when he does, their Women's Volleyball team could go in the same direction as their Football team did when Tom Osbourne retired. Being just an average team.

Defensively, I think I would want Lexi on Hellvig unless/until Rasmussen comes into the match. I’m debating whether or not I would like Jazz vs BVS or Ross. I think Jazz can definitely shut down Ross, but I feel BVS is more potent and can do more damage. However, BVS seemed to play well when she was in the front row vs Nebraska the two times she hit against them. So I’m wondering whether or not it’s worth trying to shut down the hitter that is harder to defend (with less chance of shutting her down), or to try and shut down the player that would be a bit easier to. Although Ross has looked a lot better recently, I feel she would struggle against Jazz. Of course though anything can happen and both outsides can go off or they can struggle. When did Van Sickle hit against Nebraska? I don’t know if she ever did play front-row for Oregon besides that one time they ran out of subs so you might be talking about, Minnesota?

Looks like Van Sickle is used to playing Nebraska. I’m excited for this match. And again, no injuries to both teams. Oops, quoted the wrong posts. Lol

Out of conference 2017, had 11 kills and hit .222. Then again in 2018 pre conference, had 8 kills and hit .250. So not jaw dropping numbers, but definitely capable of playing well against the Huskers

Callie, Lexi, Maddie, Nicklin, Kenzie & Megan weren't even on the team in for 2017, & in 2018 it was literally the first match of the season in a Huskers uniform for Callie, Nicklin & Megan, & Lexi was still out recovering from a back injury. I wouldn't even consider it a fair viewing, might as well compare Club match ups.

Unless some idiot comes in, fires Cook's selected successor, and places some idiot left coast coach who thinks running a 6-2 would be best for Nebraska, benching or forcing transfers of the talent in lue of Jr College transfers they have their eyes on...this isn't even going to be a concern. Btw, most of the female sports are doing fine at Nebraska. But, don't let us stop your dreaming of what could be and satisfying that hate of yours...I am sure we will be ok in the meantime.

Was that not the same thing said about the football program when Tom Osbourne retired. The Nebraska football team went from one of the Best programs in the Nation, to what it is now, just an average football team. If I were a Nebraska Women's Volleyball team fan, I would be concerned that the same thing may happen again, with their women's volleyball team. The same thing could be said for the Penn St. team once Ross Rose retires.
