After seeing CU yesterday with all those freshmen and sophomores playing and a lot of the team new to each other, I don't see much from CU today. Definitely not connected yet with coverage and assignment issues. Colorado has a lot of talent and ceiling potential... but in a few months and next season. This could be a rebuilding year with all the youth. There is only 1 senior on the entire team. They are likely not ready to keep up with Miami yet, but I hope I'm wrong.

Too many dumb mistakes for CU.... people running into each other to pass free balls and the ball goes down. Stupid crap like that and suddenly 6-7 points are lost because of dumb.

Miami takes the first two sets. Sub for CU's Jordan please coach. He did ...but it was too late. Hopefully he does in the 3rd. There are smaller hitters on the team that hit very well, but unfornately they don't have Jordan's height for blocks. CU also doesn't make good decisions when out of system. Instead of placing a ball in an opponents hands like they regularly do...maybe put it where an opponent isn't and create a little chaos? Miami has been out of system a lot and gotten many kills by just placing it smartl. Jeesh. |

Miami is solid but the way CU played in sets 2 and 3 is a bit concerning..
