I don't know why you're saying they let players go. They had a scholarship for the fall. I don't think they were exactly pushing Acevado out the door. She chose to go. Bringing in Ohwobete, Morris are 2 examples that left because of bringing in transfers, if not mistaken But choosing to leave because of transfers coming in and letting players go because transfers are brought in are two different statements, in my mind. Maybe I'm being too picky, but I'm not trying to be. I don't think Ulmer wanted Avecado to go anywhere. He didn't give her scholarship away and was left a little in the lurch when she chose to enter the portal so late.

No but really Maybe minus Nebraska, I don’t think there is a better collection of a pin trio. And I would venture to say Pitts may be a tad bit better. Pitt looks fun babcock is blossom stafford is bubbles vvg is buttercup flood is bliss

Is oreogn running Michele like one rotation in the front only?
And then in the back row?

Pitt has been using Kelly extremely well at the middle position.

I think that, esp high level recruits, players want to go someplace where they'll play. and if you bring in those senior transfers it, imo, means another year they have to wait. Whereas going somewhere else will give them a better chance to play. But we'll have to see how that plays out in Minnesota.
edit: meaning I think Kate probably thought she'd be the starting libero, and Acevedo the OH2. And since they brought in seniors through the transfer means they wouldn't, so they go somewhere else

It is great watching two good teams where you may have a rooting interest, but not your favorite teams, so you can just enjoy it, with no stress.

Oregon definitely has the talent on the pins to compete with the best of teams if they can tune up some connections and serve receive.

But I do not feel like Ulmer was trying to push out Acevado. He just wasn't able to make a compelling enough case for her to stay. To me that's an important distinction. I'm not sure the distinction matters as much to you. Which doesn't make you wrong at all.
