-18 / -17
Neal is 8 for 8, Ofoegbu is 4-1-8. Team hitting percentage dropped that set though - now we're only at .409

Umm I don't see her out there. Either way, she had chances, wasn't good enough to help us beyond being a service sub. If she wanted to go home, let her. its was on the prompter, so I think they got it wrong. I don't see her either, maybe she's probably a ds for one of their hitters I think Kate is the ds for Grote

Cline much better setting IMHO. Better out of system. Better connections with middles. And better setting back row.

Neal is unstoppable, wow. 11 for 11. Even doing it on the slide.

-18, -17, -16, nice clean sweep. Outhit them .375 to .081.
Neal went 13-0-14 with 2 blocks, Mimi 12 kills, Glover 7 kills / 5 blocks .429. Onye 5 kills / .300 and 3 blocks. Ohwobete 7 kills much better day from her hitting-wise. Morris seems to be settling in a bit.
Very nice bounceback match. Probably will see Cline next week, she looked good today.

Just based on the stat feed that I had, simple overservations would be, and those that had video can correct me, but seems like we passed a lot better today than vs Pitt. But that could mean that LBSU just isn't that good of a service team than Pitt. But with that said, 24 sets to the middle and 18 kills still means that the passing and hitting connections were solid, esp with Neal going 13-14. All pin hitters with 12/7/7 kills means everyone got set too, so Cline was able to spread the ball around pretty well too.
41 assists from Cline out of 42 assists means we passed settable balls and weren't out of system a ton. And with that many assists means both teams weren't making many unforced errors like service errors, hitting the ball out of bounds, etc...

Ducks get the sweep. Nice efficient play today. Ducks led by Neal with 13 kills 0 errors. Wow! I really thought Long Beach State was going to be a huge challenge. Oh wait. No I didn’t. That was the one Long Beach State fan on this board who is perennially bitter that volleyball is so much about having P4 conference money and resources and it will be tough for historically powerful volleyball programs like Long Beach State to ever be nationally relevant ever again. I almost misremembered.
