They need a single player to anchor that back row. Not going to be Damrow. Saige had 3 digs tonight. Could be GG but that experiment failed in 22 and 23. Schumacher has the best passing numbers and is just three digs behind GG on the season but had some bad receives tonight. I don’t know who the answer is but the cavalry is not it The answer is obviously Maile. oh easy. Face card serves every ball out for the other team |

WI was without Smrek. With her @100% seems WI likely wins IMO. That's a statement. And not an accurate one I fear. |

Smrek wouldn’t have saved horrible passing and complete lack of communication on floor defense Her blocking & offense on 3 rotations would have made the difference IMO. Stanford with Blyashov sweeps. Her offense takes pressure off when Kurt wasn’t performing. |

A lot of this boils down to Wisconsin not being able to nab a transfer OH in the portal.
It's not TSC's fault (and I dont think it should be expected of her to come into a top 5 program and be a starter)
I would be very curious what conversations with TayLa, Acevedo, whoever else transferred were like. I wonder if they even entertained Taylor Head (but she might've been set on beach at FSU too)

So proud of Miner. She is coming for the Paris job. When she came into college, a LOT of people were higher on Kennedi Orr in the same class.

We also don’t need to in system that much if that’s how Stanford is going to block a pretty lethargic Wisconsin team, no offense. Jenna about to go OTT for three sets. |

Her connection with Charlie is the worst. Charlie played much better when there is a faster RS. Miner improved a lot in second half of the game. Her defense changed the rhythm totally in Stanford side. If Stanford wanna make F4, they should set better OOS. Libero, Miner or any other player. Their hitters are not big killers but have big variety of shots, just set s decent usable ball. All OOS sets to Harvey is unhittable, considering her footwork is also not great, she needs better sets. Some of the balls Rubin and Ipar had to deal is way too funky, there is no angle they can work on. |
