They've lost to 1, 5, and 6. In theory, they could still host but they're going to have to win some of their ranked matchups. Good thing they get a couple cracks at #2. Also penn state has the potential to be up in top 3 also who they will play. They have Louisville tommorrow and Pitt in OOC just before conference play begins. They also play Kentucky. If they are able to take care of buisiness they should be up at the top. Not saying they will win all those but if they did they would prob be in top 3 starting conference play. The Louisville match tommorrow is psu home opener. Should be crazy. Tennesse and temple were both on road. But Pitt ans Kentucky will be on road also. They need to get this one tommorrow at home

As much as we are criticizing the play of Stanford and Wisconsin, outside of TX/NE/Pitt/LV, who realistically is stronger than them? PSU, Creighton, Purdue, MN vs Stan/WI would be competitive. People saying WI should be 19 is a little crazy to me because I couldn't name 18 teams that are clearly better than them at this point.

I'll this loss without Shrek. She is not a passer or directs traffic, so her presence could not have made a difference.
We got HARVEY'D. Smrek could not help with that.
Devyn is the better blocker, on-court presence, and attacker. Once we can solidify TSC, things will be alright. Julia needs to be in Libero full-time.
The team's energy, movement, and court awareness improved with CC in the middle.
Carter, we need you to stop mentally playing like you're 5'11.
Kelly the greatest volleyball minds?!?!?!?!!?!?

So proud of Miner. She is coming for the Paris job. When she came into college, a LOT of people were higher on Kennedi Orr in the same class. That was just Nebraska talking.

My favorite fun fact about Sheffield is that he and Craig Skinner coached a middle school team together when they were first coaching

Cause we know that Texas is historically such a great passing team... Historically? No. The last few years? Come on. We also don’t need to in system that much if that’s how Stanford is going to block a pretty lethargic Wisconsin team, no offense. Jenna about to go OTT for three sets. wennas? ….You mean Grace Lohberg jr?…

My take on the match: UW did not match Stanford’s scrappiness on D and their setting turned that into points. The badgers only looked themselves on D and in transition on a few plays. But on those plays, you could see the potential. They need balance at OH, they need Smrek, they need to settle the backrow.

I think that's unfair to Kennedi, who clearly wasnt/isnt the same player post ACL injury. Her pre-injury play spoke for itself (in comparison)

A lot of this boils down to Wisconsin not being able to nab a transfer OH in the portal. It's not TSC's fault (and I dont think it should be expected of her to come into a top 5 program and be a starter) I would be very curious what conversations with TayLa, Acevedo, whoever else transferred were like. I wonder if they even entertained Taylor Head (but she might've been set on beach at FSU too) yes none of it is because they were out hustled and SU played crazy defense and served tough.

You could see the moment where Oglivie locked in. It was over from there. Well played, Stanford.
