I still can’t get over how iconic Harvey’s serving has been. Like I know small sample size but over an ace per set and breaking even with the errors? We Stan

reminder that Stanford used a serving sub last season and it wasn’t Harvey I guess the logic was that the serving specialist should be someone who can dig a ball, like a DS. But logic be damned, if the serves are that good, Stanford should have been using Harvey as their serving specialist in 2023.

That was just Nebraska talking. Pre injury Orr in U19 World Champs was insane and even made a name for her in international forums. So like what exactly happened to her? Lots of players come back from ACL injuries and pick right back up where they left off. Is Bergen just slightly better and thus able to hold on to the starting spot or would U19 Kennedi have never lost the spot to Bergen in the first place?

I'd not dare to compare pre-injury Orr and Bergen lol. If i need to do it, I think they are different, Bergen is more steady and Orr was more flashy. Considering how basic and slow Nebraska plays, Bergen was always better choice. Orr could have settled in starting setter place before Bergen tho, not sure how it'd work out. Orr in U19 was marvelous but she wasn't steady like Bergen, her hands weren't as clear as Bergen. The injury only made this more visible considering she is not as good as before taking her feet to the ball.
