Isn't Nebraska returning its entire starting lineup? Like I'm gagged. They should be firing on all cylinders. idk, in 2016 we swept Texas in the VERT challenge (in Eugene) the year after we won a championship in 2015. And we all know what happened in December that year. (insert Kelly Hunter gif) the Hunter D ball to no one still haunts my dreams

this thread is a little too quiet... The Nebraska hubbub will be over three or four matches into conference play.

I know Cook never will, but he needs to steal a page from the Rettke-era Wisconsin playbook and have an offense that’s centered around Jackson. She’s too powerful of an offensive weapon to be set only 4 times per set. Agree.. and Nebraska offense too slow, no tempo But didn’t Bergen Reilly play at setter with the Senior National USA Volleyball team under Karch Kiraly before her freshman year because she is so good at setting a fast tempo offense?

Celia Cullen put on a master class of exactly how to dismantle Nebraska’s defense while Sam Erger dismantled their passing game.

Landfair doesn’t play v the ranked teams. Stars against the I ranked and is pulled after about a set. She only sees action again at 15-23 in the third, at two match points. Cook isn’t playing his B1G FOY transfer like someone he has confidence in, at all. this is exactly what it seems to be. if you look at his reactions (or lack thereof) for when she makes mistakes vs. other players, it seems like he doesn't really have expectations or confidence in her quite yet. it's understandable due to her obvious rough time getting to nebraska, buttttttttt i really don't know how she fits into this team tbh. but we'll see! maybe Cook really did take her to keep from playing against her at Wisconsin. (Or Texas?)

this thread is a little too quiet... The Nebraska hubbub will be over three or four matches into conference play. Or not — Penn State, Minnesota, Purdue could all keep a hubbub going. Let alone Stanford, Creighton and Louisville. This could be a wake up that has those future matches go well, or a sign of other trouble. No way to tell.

I am so entertained by all of these new issues Nebraska has internally now that they’ve lost a game. Lol Can we give SMU some props? Incredible coverage at times, terrific block, digging bombs, serving missiles, ripping fearlessly.. Yeah-Nebraska sucked. They were lifeless. Their offense was abysmal. Their defense was non existent. There wasn’t communication. They just looked gassed. Rodriguez…WHAT?!?!?! I get it’s been 4 games in 7 days, and that doesn’t provide a lot of practice time to work on the weaknesses, but my god they have a list to work on now that they have a few days. It’s just an upset. A shocking upset. But that happens in sports. It’s why the game is played. Thank you.

She’s fine. She’s trying to hang low and learn People are understandably still mad tho… Yeah I think it's more her teammates could still be feeling some typa way... along with the position battles and some of the girls (especially the pins/DSes) being subbed on and off all the time Ya the constant movement has my neck sore

I hope we drop outside of top 10 icl If Wisconsin hasn't yet, you won't Hey now. We’ve at least won a set in each of our losses, and none of those were to unranked teams.

Congratulations to SMU. Those Huskers aren't going anywhere. Just a bump in the road for the girls and a good opportunity to to work out the kinks.
