Are we serving the libero purposely?? I will never understand that game plan. She was pretty abysmal in SR against Stanford. |

Good way to end this set. A terrible bump set by Halter followed by an awkward tip. Texas has been overcoming underwhelming play with outstanding talent. Let's see if they can keep that up. Minnesota ties up the match 1-1 with a 25-19 win. the secondary setting is also rough so far VERY rough! Shockingly rough. I don't understand what is going on. It's Halter and Akana. Why is this an issue? I don't get it at all. |

It looked like Minnesota stressed the Longhorn serve receive more and the Texas setting hasn't been able to compensate and/or help put the team back in system. The Longhorn middles are managing but you can only do that so much until you feel the pressure to take a bigger swing. The defenses are dead even with 35 digs and 5 blocks a piece for both squads. Texas have committed double the amount of unforced hitter errors and has fallen behind in the serving department going 1 ace against 5 errors while Minnesota as 3 aces against 6 errors. If it weren't for Texas converting all those two handed attacks it would have been a blowout. |
