I’m hearing tip and roll way too frequently. Listening to the Illinois/Dayton match, if tipping and rolling were Olympic events, we’d be gold medalists! 🏅 Don’t get me wrong, there’s a time for finesse, but at this point, even the opposing team probably has a script for our next move. 🙄 I know we got points this way but is it sustainable in the Biggie? We’ve been cruising against the lower-ranked teams, but now it’s time to get points by banging those balls 💥 I feel like they are afraid to make mistakes and if that is the case we are going to struggle in conference play. Let’s show them what Illinois volleyball is really about and get aggressive and take some risks. |

I said it earlier watching WKU & Marquette. They were taking rips. We need to stop tipping and rolls shots. Take a swing, hit high hands, id rather get stuffed than give teams free balls all the time.
