The schedule was not favorable to Dayton. First match didn’t start until quarter after 3 since Marquette vs. WKU went long. Against the home time in prime time. Two wins for the Flyers in about 6.5 hours.

Nice win for Marquette. A 1-4 start would have had reminders of last year but with not the same gauntlet. Ugh that would have been terrible. It's a bit of hyperbole, but winning this game may have saved their season! |

Marquette caught up, then back and forth until Dayton prevails 28-26. Would be fun to watch....grrrrr
