I explained. Be my guest, I am over it.
While the University of Wisconsin claims "UW" as a trademark, the University of Washington's use of "UW" (including UW.edu) long predates that claim. To avoid "UW vs UW", I'll be using U-Dub, Huskies, or Dawgs, while I would hope that Wisconsin fans would choose a suitable replacement (Wisco/Wiscy or Badgers?), to avoid confusion and out of simple courtesy. Otherwise, I have no problem with either fan-base using "UW" in contexts where no confusion is likely to arise.

Wisconsin fans never call themselves UW. I don't recall seeing anything besides Badgers or Wisconsin in the team thread.
'UW' will create confusion for other B1G fans. That's it.

In match threads I use UW all the time when updating scores. I’m a slow typist and that’s easier for me. Now I’ll have to come up with something else, or glory in the confusion.

Yeah, but the last time They played in the dungeon was 2019. Are any of these players from that team? Except for the freshmen, they have all played at Maples. They have all played at Bohler. They have all played at Matt Knight. Etc. Hostile gyms and top opponents are not easy, but you probably should realize that the (former) PAC-12 was actually tougher (on average) than the Big 10. Again, none of that means the Huskies are favored. They are not. But playing big-time opponents on the road is not a novel experience for the program or the players. None of those get loaded bleachers of rabid fans like the fielhouse, devanny, rec hall, holloway

Huskies chances go up considerably if Barton can play. She was on the bench @ Iowa, so travelled with the team and hopefully was held as a option. On the other hand, even if she can play, first appearance will involve some adjustment.
