Huskies chances go up considerably if Barton can play. She was on the bench @ Iowa, so travelled with the team and hopefully was held as an option. On the other hand, even if she can play, first appearance will involve some adjustment. she wasn’t even dressed. My best guess is that she’s out for a minute at least. Hope for a strong and speedy return. |

Badgers pregame: Jesse Nelson doing radio today. Arias is under the weather.
Pete Waite
Washington as been at a top level for decades, should be a challenge.
Current coach has been there for decades as a player, assistant and now coach, so there is continuity.
Waite is going to help with the play by play! Has gotten tips from Jon. Jesse sounds legitimately terrified.
Gary White
Explaining the slide to Jesse who is sliding into PxP. Not sliding into first base (lol)
They mostly run it all the way to the pin these days.
Dana had 4 separate approach points including in front of the setter.
Washington: Very well coached program. Don't make a lot of errors.
Players get progressively better. Solid defensively - don't adjust floor positions much.
Sheffield
Huskies are very good. Running a 6-2. Very balanced offensively. Very tough defensively. Serve well.
Schedule: Fine with starting at FH 4 matches into B1G schedule. 3 or 4 road matches in a row is not that long a stretch.
Is familiarity an issue in this match?: It's been so hairy that he barely knows who they will play in a couple weeks.
Playing catch up on scouting opponents all year, so not much different.
