How is Michigan not defending against the middle attack by Smrek. Block number 21 ends it. it is just too fast, the block can't get up in time. They should be committing. The badgers ran that play every single time they had the opportunity. Oregon had figured that out. |

Good match overall! Michigan needs to work on their block coverage, but they have some great pieces and I’d really like to see them in the tournament in December.
Frank and Smrek were great offensively, and I’m glad that Smrek did so well attacking after the Oregon match.

I was hoping by November so they could take a crack at winning the conference, but I think you're right about it being December. You never know! There blocking is getting back to elite and they are learning. I say we make a push. Penn state once and at our place? I like those odds (still going to be a battle). Nebraska twice (First being at home), I like the first game being here. But we need to win the home one. I have faith in us. We are young but they have wonderful coaches and leaders. The Michigan trip is the best use of the private jet! Turns a 5-6 hour drive around the lake into a 30 minute flight. They’ll be back home by10pm instead of 4am.

Okay, so congratulations to Anna Smrek! I say she got mental during the Oregon match, and she says, “oh yeah? Lemme show you some mental!” What a rebound match. 🙌🏾
Also…just an anecdote: It’s highly entertaining to see Franklin pound so many smart shots, but seeing her put one in the corner over Michigan’s triple block is really special. 🥳

I was assuming it was a BTN graphic but I guess that makes sense that BTN would defer to the schools to provide the pictures. |
