Lets get a win tomorrow. Id like to see TdB get in the match if we are blowing them out. She is really the only player on the bench who can sub in.

I would think we won’t have the volleyball pep band in attendance today as the full Marching Illini Concert at State Farm is starting at 3 PM. The rest of us will have to pick up the spirit slack in their (likely) absence!

The rest of us will have to pick up the spirit slack in their (likely) absence! When I read the first part of the sentence about not having the volleyball pep band today I assumed it would be due to some excessive celebration following yesterday’s football win. I’ll be impressed if anyone shows up today with any energy.

Well the team is playing as if they celebrated the win yesterday harder than I did.

Two things regarding topspin serves I don't understand. First, is there a reason Brooke does not approach her serve from about three feet further back? Second, when I played I always thought a hard floater was much tougher to receive than a hard topspin because the topspin was predictable and one did not know whether the floater would go right, left, up or down.
