Guys. The middle rotation isn’t the problem. The badgers were top 4 in the nation blocking coming into this match. That does not suggest a systematic problem. He’s moving them around because they have different strengths and weaknesses, and no one has really been able to claim a spot outright for whatever reason. They just didn’t play that well in this match. And that was due at least in part to the way Nebraska played.

Making Booth move to her left was a clear point of emphasis.
in FBSO in rotation one last night, Landfair had every swing but one on the right in system.
Beason had 25% of total swings in rotation one last night compared to 37% coming into the match.
Nebraska hit .333 in the rotations Booth played, .049 in the rest.

Murray 1.70 on 15 Rodriguez 2.58 on 12 Mauch 2.20 on 15 Choboy 2.23 on 13 Franklin 2.25 on 16 Orzol 2.15 on 17 Schumacher 2.14 on 33 Very uncharacteristic passing night for Harper. She was passing a 2.36 on the season coming into this match (2.33 now). She's only passed a 2.0 or below in two matches all season (SMU and Wisconsin). Glad to see the Huskers overcome that Laney remains that girl idc <3

No one wants to admit they only like Jordan in Nikes or all white tennis shoes. I'll say it for them. Those boots are the "bad vibes"

Well yes booth had to move left: but avid you fail to say who is to the right: Smrek : so most MB’s are better going RT than Lft: and when a 6’9” Oppo is out there waiting tou go to 6’5” OH who is away feom the Oppo! Also for most of season Lanfair hasnt been starting OH: so maybe beason was used more often! What was true is that Lndfair was the most used front row option last night no matter where she was

What was true is that Lndfair was the most used front row option last night no matter where she was well, that was intentional/obvious (at least imo). Avoiding Smrek should be game plan #1 (but it didnt stop their play last year when Nebraska sent 65% of their attacks to left/middle in rotation one, compared to like 35% last night) Either way, there was an increase in the use of Landfair on the right last night. In her starts (more or less), she's attacking 28% of the time in rotation one. It was 56% last night.

Landfair 1 blocker , free ball back, landfair again, free ball back, landfair again, kill!!! But also at end of games Neb S. From row after timeouts beason to finish in tough situations! And lets be clear: whats beason hiting row 1 against teams with Opp blocking her?? Just kidding to much video to watch to verify rotations! My point : multiple reasons for plan: and not reason for Neb winning: question: since in system Neb. Should SO 65/75 in system: so in ro 1 last night IS did they exceed expected (achieve) , expected, or under achieve?

My point is not about Nebraska, who played well, my point was about the rotation at badger MB. People are saying that is why the block wasn't good and that Sheff could can it on evidence of this match, and I think evidence shows the rotation has nothing to do with it. It has worked well wrt blocking. When CC was up front last night, the block was OK. Booth did not have a good night. She has been up and down on her reads and her footwork from match to match all year. More good days that bad one of late, but last night was a down night. Where Nebraska probably affected that is by receiving serve pretty well. Booth's effectiveness is really dependent on serving the other team OOS. But she wasn't effective when huskers were OOS either to my eyes.
