First time in a long time I turned off the game before it was over. This program is years away from making any run in the tournament; and, I’m not sure this coaching staff is capable.
Can’t even imagine how ugly the Nebraska game will be. How did this team beat Wisconsin?

Bright spot was definitely Julia with 18 kills, she’s such a rock. Can’t really blame the players for being a mess all week, Keegan lost at least four of these sets on his own through terrible substitution decisions.
I do like Oregon, so glad we could give them a top 25 win.

You have to assume when your hitters can’t swing for a kill that you missed your location or tempo
With a minimal middle attack the pins are liable to be smothered
You can counter by bringing them in or setting wider for line or wipes
Crowl just isn’t terminal

So after this weekend it seems the gophers RPI is a way more accurate representation of where they are at. I’d put us right around that 25 mark. Our ceiling is decently high, but we learned that our floor is in the depths of hell 6 games to go and the ceiling is 4-2 (no way they can beat Neb or Wisc). I believe that would be 13-7, 20-10. Not good enough for a Top 16. The Minnesota brand is eroding right before our eyes. |
