THE RULES
REMINDER: When drafting and managing your roster, please remember that you need at least (1) International athlete to be in your lineup every week. Failing to do so will have its consequences!
You must draft at least (1) athlete from the following conferences: Big West, Conference Carolinas, EIVA, MIVA, MPSF, at least (1) athlete from the NEC/SIAC AND INDEPENDENT/ECC. Athletes from the Puerto Rican League are off-limits, however, Puerto Rican athletes playing in the teams mentioned earlier (Big West, Conference Carolinas, etc.) will be considered International athletes.

SERVING/BLOCKING SUBS: This will not be tolerated this year as it skewed some of the results last year. If a serving sub/blocking sub situation occurs, the team that identified it should flag and replace the player unless a dispute arises. A penalty for a false claim should be a player removed the week without a replacement (
-1 any slot). Rule change courtesy of
wilbur.

ROSTERS
REMINDER: It is strongly encouraged that you have more than one international athlete on your roster at all times. Having no International athlete in your lineup will put you at a major disadvantage as your first listed ANY position will not count towards any stats for the week.
Athletes may only be selected from D1/D2 schools and must be listed on their team's roster by the first match of the season. If an athlete is removed from their team's roster before the first match of the season begins, then you will be allowed to drop them free of charge. If an athlete leaves the team during the season due to personal, to go play overseas (which happened at least once in the past two seasons) or leave the team for an unknown/undisclosed reason then they can only be replaced with an add/drop.
Each participant will have a full roster of 12 athletes that includes and meets the conference conditions of:
1 SETTER
3 PINS
2 MBS
6 ATHLETES OF ANY POSITION (
EXCLUDING LIBEROS)
β‘β‘β‘
WEEKLY ROSTERS
Each participant will choose 8 athletes to place in their weekly lineup, then rank your bench using the following format:
S #1:
PIN #1:
PIN #2:
PIN #3:
MB #1:
MB #2:
ANY #1:
ANY #2:
__________
BENCH #1:
BENCH #2:
BENCH #3:
BENCH #4:
The four bench players should be ranked according to who should be subbed first. This prevents taking zeros for an athlete who hasn't played due to injury or any undisclosed reasons. If an international athlete has not played any matches for the week, the first international athlete off your bench will be inserted into your weekly lineup instead.
No Liberos this year.β‘β‘β‘

FAQS
WHAT POSITION WILL THEY PLAY?1. Players that are listed as S/OPP and MB/OPP, etc. will be designated to the position they played the most last year.
2. If a player is not playing the position they played last year, they will possess that position in weeks 2, 3, etc. For instance, Isaac played middle last year, so he will be a middle for week 1. If he plays as a pin in week 1, then he will be designated as a pin in week 2.
3. Any questions about a player's position can be asked in this thread or via private message.
4.
[NEW] Serving Subs/Blocking Sub: This will not be tolerated this year as it skewed some of the results last year. Athletes in these roles will need to play a minimum of three sets in their rostered positions for their stats to count.
