Torn.
Part of me wants to see the Jackrabbits only loss be to the Tommies; …another part wants the Jackrabbits to lose another match.
And a big part of me wants to see the Tommies tied for third in the Summit, which can only happen if the ‘Yotes lose out. But I don’t want them to lose. :/

Maybe the same one.

Looking forward to see a lot of Coyotes fans this evening at Baxter Arena. It's senior night for four Omaha seniors, including Ruch. These two teams will likely play each other again soon in the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament.

Omaha wins in four sets. Attendance this evening was 2,270. Congratulations, your seniors played well on senior night! Hopefully we will get to see you again in KC. Next week. I have to imagine that the friends and family of our many Nebraska players were in attendance. Plus, the friends and family of your seniors on senior night, who several of them are also fairly local…. The Husker Football game was on the road, too. That always helps!

Well, USD is now locked in for a 3-seed, and will face KC in the SLVT. In fact, all seeds are set. (Except maybe 4 & 5, which won’t matter)
The only major question is if UST will get a share of 3rd, or if Omaha will get a share of the regular season title! The outcome of the SDSU @ USD match will tell us…..
USD will be playing for pride, and the rivalry.

To my eye, the attendance breakdown was probably 60% regular Omaha fans, 20% South Dakota fans, including locals cheering for the local players that play for the Yotes, and 20% Nebraska football fans who migrated from sports bars to check out the Mavs. We're always impressed with your coach Williamson. Even when calls don't go her way, she always shows nothing but class.

Even when calls don't go her way, she always shows nothing but class. That’s probably one of the highest compliments in sports. Thanks for that! In an interview last year Coach W named Creighton’s coach as someone she looks up to in the sport. Paraphrasing, but she said something to the effect of Creighton’s Coach epitomized how to run a program in a classy way. Something like that. I appreciate Coach Buttermore’s laid back style, too. In some ways I think of him similarly to coach Mike Leach in Football. By that I mean he doesn’t worry about what outsiders think of him, and simply runs his program as he feels is right. I do think he has more respect for his players than Leach, but you get the idea
