PSU has been in the top 3/4 of the AVCA poll for literally almost the entire season. The only way they don’t host a regional is if they lose to Purdue. They could beat Purdue and lose to Nebraska and still host in my opinion.

.... you do know the AVCA poll has nothing to do with seeding and the tournament, right?

Yes, but the AVCA poll and Massey Ratings do a better job of passing the "eye test" than the RPI.
Do you think Utah or Dayton would beat Purdue or Minnesota?
The RPI suggests they would do so easily.
