Begging the committee to send a good team to TCU, Kansas, or Utah Please send Miami or Minnesota there Praying Lawrence and Minneapolis magically get 20 miles closer so we don’t have to go to Austin.

I know they will never put someone against each other in first round who are in the same conference. Does the same hold true in the second round as well? Curious if they set up to avoid in rd of 32 as well. No conference matchups in the 1st and 2nd round. No such restriction thereafter.

Really appreciate your hard work. Don't understand how RPI is used, heavily? starting point? As a Purdue follower love that you have them hosting, but isn't their RI in the 20s? Thanks for any education.

Don’t see any way Penn State beats Nebraska on Friday. -passing matters -Nebraska is vastly superior in at least 2 rotations. , If Nebraska does win, Creighton will get the #4 hosting spot.
Don’t see Louisville beating Pitt either. . . we’ll see how it goes. . .

I would not choose for Wisconsin or Texas to be Pitt's Regional Final opponent. But you have to beat someone good in that round no matter what, so it's not worth worrying about. I would also not want to be Wisconsin or Texas, having to beat the other for the privilege of facing Pitt (in the later poster's seed predictions I am now realizing, not Tojan's).
If Louisville wins Wednesday, do they and Pitt switch the 2/3? Louisville would seem slight to moderate favorites in my mind. A five-set battle in Pittsburgh seems to me to be a good sign for Louisville at home. These matchups have been dogfights in Pittsburgh and neutral sites, but not in Louisville.

I'm a Creighton fan and I just don't see it without a couple upsets/some of them big this week. But, I appreciate the optimism.

Thanks for any education. In addition to a team's individual RPI ranking, committee uses metrics such as wins against RPI Top 10, RPI Top 25, and RPI Top 50 teams. Purdue has some good wins in those categories including against RPI #10 Kentucky and RPI #13 Utah. ncaastats.figstats.net/volleyball-rpi.cgi

Utah being 13 in rpi is just so crazy. I wasn’t sure they’d even make the tournament let alone host the first 2 rounds lmfao
