(56 kills is the NCAA 5-set record set by Svetlana Vtyurina for George Washington against Georgetown in 1995. 15-point sideout scoring era. I wonder how long the match was. Probably lots of siding out and not scoring on serve. 15-11, 13-15, 20-18, 11-15, 15-13. Vtyurina wasn't even named team MVP that year, dang tough crowd.)
