Game 5, Tennessee has been up and down this year. Losing to Louisville and Bama, but beating Florida and Notre Dame. The way they are playing, if it goes 5, I wouldn't bet against them. Last time I saw Missouri go 5, they absolutely folded against Nebraska.

They steamrolled Michigan and Michigan St so let's keep that in the proper perspective.. It isn't an excuse as much as it is a reality. If Florida lost Mcginnis or Hampton I think it would change the dynamic as well as the outcome of a match against a great opponent. Michigan and Michigan State weren't very good teams overall this year. Or is that what you're saying?

Yeah. That's the same score the Vols went on their 10-2 run to take game 4 from the Gophers. 26-21 now.

Missouri has 2 blocks this game and only 1 service error. That's why they are winning. They are clearly producing offensively, over 20 kills in each game thus far. If they can cut down their unforced errors, they can win this. But they've got to block more balls and keep the damn serves in.

Plus, in 2003 when Florida lost their best middle blocker it didn't happen just a few matches before the end of the season and Florida wasn't led on offense by a freshman outside hitter that was turned to to provide even more of the offense for her team.

30-25, on to game 4. Blum and Knytych producing kills and only 1 error combined, that's not something you see often from UT. Blum is usually a blocking machine but doesn't get many kills.

Both teams are running fairly balanced offenses in terms of the number of attacks.

I'm not saying PSU did use it as an excuse, but any injury is part of the sport and you have to play with what you have.

Didn't you make comments regarding the loss of Florida's middle during the 2003 tournament?

4-2 Vols.
Vols leading in blocks 12.5 to 3 is pretty surprising to me.
