Please contribute what you can.
Mine: Minnesota goes 1-2 at St. Louis Tournament (won by LSU) playing without Kelly Bowman and Marci Peniata, suspended for some mysterious NCAA rules infraction, which, by all appearances, appears to be an absolute joke.
TAMU goes 2-1 in the same tournament. They seem to be doing OK in the post-Jones era.

Nebraska has already showed big improvements in floor defense. Like I said earlier (somewhere) it is almost like wathcing NU's football team go from the running game to the West Coast offense, its that strange looking at NU's personnel on the floor. In one or two rotations we have 3 "little" people in the back row with no available back row attacker. Busboom is averaging a little over 5 digs/game. Holloway had the team hitting .410 over 3 matches after starting out hitting only .192 in the season opener.
Larson is doing what I expected her to do. Improved blocking, great floor defense, taking a lot more attacks. I figured another year in NU's weight program and a year of maturity would do wonders for her already fairly high level of play. As good as she was, even she found out that college is played at a whole different level than club or high school.
I would like to see Gates up her kill numbers, doing an good job in the blocking. Stalls may never be an Elmer (but then not many people will) just cause I think she is just slightly slower than Elmer. But she is really ready to have a breakout season after two injured plagued years...and it shows.
I'd like to see Mancuso a little more consistent, but I think she is developing into her new role. Overall, I'm more confident of the team than I was two weeks ago. The competition has been good but not great, but unfortunately probably won't get much better, other than possibly it appears Cal Poly and of course Texas. Like most other teams they have a LOT of upside potential. Overall I would say a B to B+.

I missed this entire weekend so a summary would be nice.

I don't remember much more than the pre-Florida-Hawaii hype. It was fun to post pictures and it banter with the Florida fans. Yes, Florida handled Hawaii, but despite badger 'fans' tries to rile us, we stayed cool.

Of course, Alix Klineman's visit to Hawaii should be listed under this "Summary" thread. It's an event rivaling any volleyball match this past weekend. Someone should write up a full report of her visit.

At HAL Classic in Honolulu
UCLA def. Colorado 3-0 Florida def. Hawaii 3-0
UCLA def. Florida 3-0 Hawaii def. Colorado 3-0
Florida def. Colorado 3-0 UCLA def Hawaii 3-0
UCLA looked crisp in this tournament. Florida actually looked crisp against Hawaii, but not so great against UCLA, when they had a comfortable lead in games 1 and 2, only to have UCLA steal it from the last 20's.
Hawaii - well, just look at the improvement posts.

Someone should write up a full report of her visit. I was seated right across from where Alix was sitting. Most of the game she was pretty neutral not having a reaction to the fortunes or misfortunes of either Hawaii or UCLA, two of the schools she is suppose to be considering. However, by the third game she was applauding whenever Hawaii scored a point. It may be that she was merely being polite since she was in the company of Kawika Shoji (I think) and two other Hawaii guys.

There are several players from Hawaii on the JNT (Spencer MacLauglin, Jordan Inafuku, Kawika Shoji). Spencer is Chris' son BTW. They are probably all friends with Alix. I believe that both McLaughlin and Inafuku are being recruited heavily by Mike Wilton. Does any of this mean anything, as to Alix's recruitment, probably not, but something interesting I thought I would throw out there.

Hehe... I thought it was pretty funny that Kawika was 'hosting,' at least during the match, Alix, when he chose Stanford. I was watching Alix every now and then to get a feel for her thoughts, I think that she was buying into the atmosphere when Hawaii played well.... now if she can be convinced that she is a missing link to make Hawaii play well, then we might have her!! Here's hoping.

Alix, don't do it! Run, don't walk, away from Hawaii! Hop on that plane and continue running towards Palo Alto.
BTW IB, Alix had tin foil barrets in her hair to deflect your mind probes.

Lucky for me, I was using my new experimental mind probe that requires copper deflectors!!! AK to Hawaii, where next year UH will run dual-AK's against opponents.

Lets see if Alix enjoys the Texas-Ohio State football game on Saturday...under the lights at Royal-Memorial Stadium with the freshly installed Godzillatron scoreboard...now if only Texas VB can beat PSU the night before.... as IB said, here's hoping!

She'll be leaving the football game early...you know, when Ginn and Smith embarrass the Longhorns.

Alix, don't do it! Run, don't walk, away from Hawaii! Hop on that plane and continue running towards Palo Alto. Funny why you want Alix to go to Stanford...you probably want Stanford to win the next 4 National Championships...with all those talent they have plus another top recruit. You want the rich to be richer. No parity? Alix may not help Hawaii to a National Championship...but will make the Wahine more competitive. Now if she chooses Washington or Texas...that's another story.
