They _had_ the depth to compensate for Harmotto's injury. They were not as good, but they never should have lost at home to Tennessee. Unfortunately, that's going to be Sam's legacy: great in the Big10; not so great in the NCAAs.
But this is a different club. They can start their own legacy.

I'll never say it. I love Sam. But there was _something_ going on in the NCAAs for her.

Watching the OHio match there is already alot of team chemistry on the court. Being this early in the season it is hard to tell but they have the much needed depth. Sam made some poor choices in her last match Nicole who was steady all year had a off night. Looking forward to seeing if they can make it to the final 4 this year.

That "could" should stand on its own, but re-reading that comment I can see how it could be interpreted differently. Maybe I could have phrased it another way, maybe that "could" should be a "should". Does that clear things up?
Yeah I agree Cacciamani was a really really good player. She brought PSU with her to several Final Fours.
