He's saying Purdue knew the OSU match was their better chance of winning one this weekend and PSU knew the Purdue match was their better chance at losing one.

Penn St really tough on tips - their height lets them get fingers on the ball

Thank you Ruffda. With the Big ten having the Fri/Sat schedule, sometimes you have to choose which matches to prepare more for. I am sure Purdue saw the OSU match as more of a must win, and put more eggs in that basket. I know that Purdue is at somewhat of a disadvantage in having IU as their travel partner. Teams can spend lots of time preparing for Purdue because IU is not very strong.

Not really. More that Penn St isn't serving as perfect as they did before

Indiana is proving they are not a cakewalk this year...
Also on this topic - the MN/WI pairing this year really adds some excitement to the big ten race - leaving not only the PSU/OSU road trip as the toughest

19 - 22
Purdue getting chances, but they really struggle at putting away balls floating around the net. Simple two handed redirects don't work as well against a team with good, aggressive middles

Purdue still hasn't reached the 17 kills that PSU acheived in game 1 alone...

Harmotto looks like she is headed to POW at least in Big 10, she had big numbers vs IU last night.

This is a must-win game for the boilers they can't have this comeback lead to a loss -- that will take away all the wind from their sails
