miva.osu.edu/pow.htmMatt is the POW for the third time. Does anyone else think this might give him a slight edge for the POY in the MIVA? I'm going to agree with Digger33 on this one, there may be better players (although, I'm not totally convinced of that), but no one is having a better year than Matty in the MIVA.

Matt has more than a slight edge for the POY in the MIVA. He is the POY in the MIVA hands down. IMO no one else is close to him....but thats just my opinion, idk about the rest of you.....

Hey VB....I'm from Palm Beach County, Florida, and I take offense to your Florida comment. I don't see any hanging chads on this one...this kid Matty is having a hell of a year for himself. With about 6 or 7 games to go in the MIVA, someone has to really step it up bigtime to catch him.

I'm kinda surprised that he hasn't been a national pow yet!

I'm kinda surprised that he hasn't been a national pow yet! me too, especially the first week i think it was when he went off big time in back to back games. I think he had 30 or so kills in each game but dont quote me on that bc i dont really remember...

He had 34 k, 2 aces and 2.5 blocks, hitting .537 the first night. The second night, he had 22 k, 0 aces and 2 blocks, hitting .381.
You're right, not a bad weekend!!! ;D

I never said he wasn't the best player in the MIVA... it's useless to argue that point with some people. I truly think he is the best player in the MIVA AND he is having the best year out of anyone in the MIVA. He may not be as physical as some OPPs but he just gets it done. Enough said.... miva.osu.edu/pow.htmMatt is the POW for the third time. Does anyone else think this might give him a slight edge for the POY in the MIVA? I'm going to agree with Digger33 on this one, there may be better players (although, I'm not totally convinced of that), but no one is having a better year than Matty in the MIVA.

I wasn't trying to argue with him but some people will think whatever they want to regardless of the facts... you know the irrational ones... and I'm just saying I don't need to prove my point to those people. I can't argue with the people who say "Fabby rules and Matty sucks"... know what I mean? Someone's cranky! I think I was agreeing with you

how about Fabby is great but Matty rules.....is that ok? Actually I think that Solar is a pretty dang good all around player and he quit doing that "x" thing )

I think Soler is a pretty good player but a role player not a starring role that Fabby or Matty would be... seems to be a nice guy too. how about Fabby is great but Matty rules.....is that ok? Actually I think that Solar is a pretty dang good all around player and he quit doing that "x" thing )

I think that Matt is a really good player, but Fab is better. He always shows up when Lewis needs him. It doesn't matter if is JR or Brandon setting. It is also very true that his hitting percentage is not as high as it was years ago, but you cannot forget that he has Brandon setting. I wish to see how Matt would play having a setter like Brandon. That is why I think Fab is better. He always plays good and carry Lewis to the semifinals and finals every year. My vote is for him.
