Mason tip shot kill, 8-7 UH ??, 9-7 UH Gregory kill, 10-7 UH T/O ND
Does someone know the name of the guy who's doing the play-by-play for KFVE? He's the same guy who does the play-by-play for UH soccer games. I think I like Jim Leahy over this guy, because tonight's dude is really not doing a play-by-play, he's spent most of the last few sets talking about how good Notre Dame is.

Mostly about how Notre Dame dominates in their conference like how Hawaii dominated the WAC for so long. He also talked about how this team is probably top 25 caliber even though they dropped out of the polls a while back.

Agree that ND has a fairly easy time of it in the Big East (aside from Louisville last season and Louisville and/or St John's this season). Disagree about the Irish being top 25 caliber, unless it's right around 25, at least, based on results to date. They need to show something against an opponent in the 20-30 range, IMO.

Houston blocked, 19-17 UH Kill ND, 19-18 UH Time-out Hawaii
Hawaii's passing looks suspect again tonight. Kamanao's doing a good job setting on broken receptions. Mason's doing a good job on the outside and the middles are pretty effective. Still, this is a close game.

Jeez, MatchTracker follows the score reasonably well but the pbp part sucks. It's skipping points and a PITA to try to use it to follow things live.

UH wins game 1, -27. I get the impression that UH errors kept ND in the game.
