UH wins game 1, -27. I get the impression that UH errors kept ND in the game. Yes, from what I'm seeing from KFVE, I think that was the case. Hawaii has had trouble all season putting the game away on the closing points of each game, and that has been really worrying me.

Looks like middle attacks were the only thing working for ND, as Stremick hit .500 and Kristoff .750. Fesl and Stasiuk as the outside attack options hit .125 and 0.000 respectively.
PS: Oh yeah, they had a couple of service aces (Stasiuk and Nicholas) too.
PPS: Interesting that UH had ten more total attacks, per MatchTracker, despite also hitting at a better clip.

ND is rotating Kaelin into game 2. She did not appear in game 1. If MT is right about the low number of blocks, she could be very effective.
