It is easy to find BiK - just stand by the beer line and the 1st person to hit the floor will be BiK. ;D
Nice match BOWs - I need something to be happy about this season.

Kari Gregory is turning out to be quite the server. And Raeceen Woolford with 15 digs--that's cool. More importantly, just three reception errors for the Wahine! Yet, that communication problem still lingers--one of those reception errors occurred when Jayme and Jamie let the serve fall between them. They "credited" the error on that one to Jamie.

Does it bother anyone that there aren't a whole lot of Irish women in the Notre Dame roster?

Notre Dame needs to pick it up some if they want to get another shot at Wisconsin in the NCAAs. I thought they would probably struggle some this season, since they lost some really good players. Going with freshman, even really good ones, is going to lead to some inconsistency. Also, going to Hawaii after the Wahine just lost isn't a good remedy for your problems, except for the whole freezing to death in this lovely midwest weather problem. I hope they have no more earthquake problems, either.

Notre Dame has some very young talent... especially impressed with Fesl a 6-1 OH and Serinity Phillips could potentially be a pretty dynamic player. I was surprised to see a very short (by recent Notre Dame standards) team on the court. I don't recall their 6-3 MB even being on the court.... was she? Yes, Stremick should have been taking a regular front-row rotation throughout the entire match. I'm not sure how you missed her, considering she was far and away the most effective attacker for ND statistically, hitting .571 with no errors. I'm not sure how much shorter ND is than last year, in terms of front players... Stremick is listed at 6'3 which is the same as Brewster, while Fesl and Kristoff (both 6'1) give up an inch on Kelbley and Cooper (both 6'2). Phillips and Kaelin (5'11 and 5'10) seem to be roughly filling the role of Heintzman (5'11) last season. That leaves Croal and Stasiuk, who are both returning.

I just looked at the game tracker... Houston and Mason hit below .200 Wow, what's going on??? and Julianna, .526?! that is awesome. You should also be proud, your Aggies did a good beating on New Mexico last night. Yeah I know!

I guess I am thinking back a few years, when they had a 6-4 average front line. Stremick must not have appeared to be 6-3 to me, because I thought a girl on the sidelines was her... ya know, just from short term memory not really paying attention to numbers and rotations last night. I watched purely for entertainment value last night. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Ace by Gregory!! Gregory went on a 5-0 serving run to take game 3! It's an ugly win but a win Hawaii desperately needed! Thanks for your updates. It really was helpful since I couldn't watch or listen to the game.

Just back from the match. Wow! ;D That was so fun. I hope every Wahine fan gets the opportunity to experience the team at the SSC. The fans are so great. Gracious and enthusiastic. Loved it. It seemed like the place was packed to me, yet others said it wasn't too crowded due to the weekday, etc. AND WE GOT FREE BACKPACKS!! So tomorrow we repeat today. I hear IB was looking for me. Does anyone know what he looks like so I might be able to spot him first? Oh, and Sanders was awesome tonight. I loved the look on her face after she would get a huge kill. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) If you have an opportunity, you should visit Hawaii when it's Senior night. It doesn't matter who Hawaii is playing, 8-10,000 people will show up to honor the seniors. I've been to all of them for the past 10 years and each is unforgettable.

Add to it this year they are hosting New Mexico State... it could be good!!

That seems strange to me... she's pretty much the tallest player on the team, I don't know how you would miss her on the court. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I think IB is talking about the 2002 series with Norte Dame. Neff at the right was 6'4, Brewster was a freshman, and Kelbley was the other middle at 6'2. The Kinder sisters were also on that team and they were about 5'10-ish (setter and outside hitter). The other starter was Loomis at 6'1 at outside. This was a fairly tall team. The Kinder sisters were the shorter players on the team but had some good jumping abilities and solid blocking skills. This wasn't a huge line up, but it was solid enough to be considered the top blocking team in the nation when the Wahine faced off against them.
And as a blast from the past, this was also the series where Willoughby hit a ball off one of the Notre Dame players heads when one went up to block Willoughby and the ball went flying into the upper part of the stands.

Sob! ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
