When Texas played Florida in 2004, Moriarity was awesome. She made everyone around her better. Watching her tonight, she has regressed. She looks awful. She is supposed to be a leader, helping out the younger players. Clearly the weak link on this team, that and their blocking. She needs to go... with all that talent on that team.... its a shame. Maybe elliot should have realized she was not on tonight and had engle step in and see what she could do.... remember how amazing she was in the season opener vs washington when she would kill the ball on the 2nd contact if moriarty took the first ball? ....

28 conference titles in 31 years. That is impressive.

well....based on this I hope Texas can make it to their own regional this year. No disresepect to NU, they looked great but UT has HUGE setting issues and their defense is very, very weak....they look to be going backwards over the last 3 or 4 matches.

How about Larson stepping up in the kill dept. She had four kills with four errors in game 1. She finished with 11 more kills and only two errors after that.

And now the waiting begins. Who does everyone think is going to be the eighth seed?
Texas, Florida, Utah? I can see a Minnesota or a Utah being an eighth seed with Texas being the ninth seed.

The most impressive Husker tonight was Busboom. Incredible defense to say the least. Best game of the season for the Huskers.

Actually, as Diane Mendenhall pointed out, Texas for some reason generally does not play well at the Coliseum. They got swept last year also.

At no point in the match did I get the feeling that the Huskers were not in control. Texas is very talented but Holloway made Moriarty look like a beginner. In Moriartys defense the Texas defense was overwhelmed by Pavan, Stalls, and Larson. I liked the way the Huskers hung in every point and worked hard to sideout. They look ready.

I don't want to jump on the texas22 bandwagon, but I do agree that Todd does better with a much higher set on the slide.

I've been out all night and just saw the score. Just wanted to say great win Huskers and I'm anxious for tomorrow's selection show. How are they going to job Hawaii this year?!?
