BIK, we all recognize that, but if doesn't change the fact. Which would be? I guess if we wanted to talk about Home court advantage we can always bring up Nebraska's streak of hosting at least one NCAA tourney match. Anybody have any guesses as to how long the streak is? people will be surprised. Does it matter? of course, considering that the Huskers have advanced to the final four just once playing away from home. Pre conference matches at home are not as important as tourney matches at home.

Wisconsin is in the top ten after 3 weeks without a win over a top 25 opponent? I was surprised Purdue lost votes after winning 3 matches. sigh. But, I also thought Lynch would get Big Ten player of the week. 26 kills. wow! Speaking of Wisconsin's pre-season, Ohio State doesn't have e a win over anybody ranked and they are ranked #20... but will that change this weekend when they play USC and Oregon? Surely they have to beat Oregon to stay at 20.

And what's your excuse for slamming Minnesota? They did beat San Diego. I'm not slamming Minnesota. I just think they are a bit overranked at 13. However, I'm okay with Minnesota at 13 but Wisconsin at 9 is definitely a stretch . Who do you put ahead of them Bik? Michigan?? They barely defended their home court with a five game squeaker to Xavier last weekend. Man, your Wahine may be worse than I thought.

Meanwhile, Purdue won three this weekend, and has losses to two ranked teams and Utah, lost 40 more votes than did Notre Dame, who lost twice, including once to Alabama. Not saying that Purdue should be ranked or anything, just that the folks who keep throwing Notre Dame on their ballot need to catch on. ND did not lose to Alabama. Only loss this weekend was to Ohio Notre Dame 9/8/2007 Home W Alabama 25-30, 30-28, 24-30, 30-19, 15-9

I'd put Michigan ahead of Wisconsin without a second thought. At least Michigan hasn't padded their wins like Wisconsin has...Gardner Webb? As much as Hawai'i has struggled early in the season, they aren't as bad as your Badgers. The poll will correct itself as the season progresses and Wisconsin's rank, if at all, will be more indicative of their subpar play.

Michigan's last five wins were against Miami of Ohio, Pitt, Wake Forest, Eastern Michigan and Xavier. Tommorrow they play Oakland College of Michigan. Frankly, the only quality win Michigan has was against Colorado State in my opinion.....

Can Wisconsin say the same at this point? You needn't respond, I already know the answer but in the meantime, feel free to enjoy the Badgers victory over Gardner-Webb.

Not really, I've enjoyed watching this team grow. Have I been frustrated? sure and the loss to Oregon State was indeed a very low point for the Wahine program but this Hawai'i team is coming along and as I stated many times before, they'll be very good when it matters most, the NCAA tournament. If I were you, I'd be more concerned with the Badgers. If they are this bad now, imagine how bad they will be by the time the conference season comes to a close. ;D

Bik, your Wahine haven'd finished losing yet, not by a long stretch. And their dominance in the Bump League, er WAC, will probably be at an end this year.
Relax and have another Shirley Temple....

Excuse me if I put little weight in your prognostication ability. I don't think anything chances in the WAC although I do expect New Mexico State to put up a good fight. Are the Wahine done losing yet? considering they play Nebraska at Nebraska, I'd say no but untill Nebraska proves otherwise, I'm going to believe Hawai'i can win. Relax and have another Shirley Temple.... I'm already relaxed bomber, you are the uptight one. I don't like Shirley Temples. Much like your Badgers, it's too weak for my liking.
