The Big Ten will take over the entire top 10 spots in the poll. If you turn the list upside down. I guess that way they would still have 10 teams in the top 25 which isn't all that bad either.

Eh, it was just a suggestion to make following teams a lot easier My recollection is that UW (Wisconsin) is older than UW (Washington). Suppose you could say: UWI and UWA But I remember growing up that UW (Washington) was simply: U-dub.

if Nebraska loses do they fall out of #1? And penn State moves up, ahead of two teams that beat them? Won't happen, but......

As an Oregon State alum, I can think of a few things the University of Washington was called; "U-dub" was one of the nicer ones.

Handy-dandy wrapup:
1--Nebraska 3-0 for the week and don't drop a game. Beat ranked Hawaii and decent Missouri (on the road) 2--Penn State 2-0, both 5-game wins, 2-point win over Wisconsin. Excuse, if one is needed, to move Stanford back to #2? 3--Stanford 2-0, both sweeps (Arizoni). 4--USC 1-1, swept @ UW. They fall. 5--Washington 2-0, sweeps over USC and UCLA at home. Look like a lock @ #4. 6--Texas 2-0, sweeps on the road over Oklahoma and Missouri. Good for #5? 7--UCLA 1-1, same as USC. I'd move Wisconsin above them. Heck, I would already have done that. 8--Wisconsin 1-1, including home court 13-15 5th game loss to PSU. 9--Cal 2-0, but went 5 @ Arizona, including 30-28 in g3 when they were already down 0-2. I'd switch them with Florida. 10--Florida 2-0, but it was Auburn and Georgia (on the road).
11--Hawaii 1-1, swept by Nebraska. No movement, more than likely. 12--Dayton 0-1 with loss @ Xavier 1-3. BIG drop? 13--Minnesota 0-2, losing on the road to NW (in 5) and MSU (in 3). BIGGER drop? 14--KSU 1-1 with 1-3 loss @ Oklahoma. Could still move up by default. 15--Michigan 1-1. Beat improved Indiana 3-1, but lose to unranked Purdue. Both at home. Notice the trend? They have to drop, too? 16--San Diego 2-0 and likely to move up, maybe to #12, even though visiting Gonzaga takes them to 5. 17--Duke 2-0, vastly over-rated at #17 (#36 Pablo) and will move up. They went 5 at home with Virginia (17-15). They have gone 5 with 4 ACC teams, winning all but the Clemson match. 18--New Mexico State 2-0 and probably under-rated. They also had a 17-15 5th game win at home (against Nevada). 19--Oregon 1-0 (Oregon State sweep). 20--Ohio 2-0 on the MAC road. #41 Pablo.
21--Colorado State 2-0 at home (BYU and Utah), now 9-1 in the MWC. 22--St Johns 1-0. UConn sweep. 23--Oklahoma 1-1. Swept by Texas and 3-1 over KSU, both at home. Moves up. 24--Cal Poly 2-0, including 5-game win at the Beach. Now 8-1 in the Big West. 25--LSU 2-0, including 3-1 win over Ole Miss at home.
Not sure anyone will fall out, although Minnesota could/should.
Best of the rest:
*Louisville, who should be ranked near St Johns if not above them was 2-0 (3-1 over both Tennessee and Cincinnati at home. *Middle Tennessee 2-1, but swept @ Western Kentucky. Ciao. *Sac State 1-0 and now 21-3 with a high Pablo (#24). Deserving? *Pepperdine 0-2 -- also ciao. *Wichita State now 19-4 and 10-1 in the MVC. #16 Pablo. *LBSU 1-1. Loss to Cal Poly was huge. *Clemson 11-0 in the ACC. If Duke, why not the Tigers? *Iowa State #25 Pablo. Others:
*Purdue? Loss to Indiana puts a damper on win over Michigan, but they are now 3rd in the Big10, by themselves. *UNLV? #13 in last week's Pablo.

I guess Wisconsin will have to move down as per unofficial AVCA poll rules. I don't think Cal should be above them, but they probably will be. I think if the Badgers played Stanford, UCLA, USC, and Washington at home, they could probably win one of them too. Also, the loss at BYU isn't as bad as Cal's at Colorado. Maybe Florida will move ahead of them as well.

But remember UCLA has to fall, too. I'm very curious how they handle this. Does Cal move to #7?
USC has to fall, too?

Wisconsin is every bit as good, if not better than UCLA, USC.

Wisconsin is every bit as good, if not better than UCLA, USC. Yes, and no. They still have that pesky loss to BYU, which they should be punished for, to a point. What is the worst loss that USC and UCLA have? Best wins for all of the above? See, it's hard to say based on results.

bucky said the Badgers had to fall. If they have to fall, the same should be true for UCLA (especially since they are so over-rated to begin with).
