The men's match v. Greece is scheduled for Prime Time tonight. Nothing live, no complete tape on cable.
Which means there will be very little of the match shown.

Hey, I guess that means they won, eh? They haven't played yet. Whether they win or not will determine how much time they get tonight.

I just can't bring myself to wander over to the other forum. Too much like the boy's locker room in Junior High School.
USA up 17-13 in game 1.
Beware of Greeks wearing shorts.
Where's whatshisname? Costas Theocharidis. Or was it Theo Costascharidis?

You do realize, if they win this, the men play for at least a bronze.
Who woulda thunk it? Thanks Brazil for tanking the last pool play match...
I'll take whatever we can get.

Ever been to Delphi? It's beautiful.
Nauplia, too.

Costas Theocharidis. Or was it Theo Costascharidis? He's living and working in Hawaii, I think selling Insurance or investment vehicles. Same company the crazy Serb, Milandinovich, is working for. Costas wouldn't be anything more than a libero or serving specialist for the Greeks anyway. A 6'2" OH who can super-slime and abuse blockers in the US collegiate game, would get shut down by international caliber blocking.

Defending gold medalists Serbia and Montanegro just got bounced out of the tournament by Russia 3-1. Stupid NBC schedule made me miss the very end of the match on Bravo TV.
A little revenge by Russia for the Gold Medal match from Sydney.
Italy over Argentina as well.

Greece ties it up, 25-22. Only 13 attacks from Hoff and Millar--and Hoff is only 2/8.
I kinda liked Greece II. Michelle Pfieffer was gorgeous.
Those Russians are an odd-looking group of players. They all look like they should be fighting Napoleon. Or dueling in the snow somewhere.

And here we all thought it was Mike Lambert's fault. I guess it's Lloy's Legacy now.

That one Russian MB, the one that plays opposite Kazakov in the rotation, looks like he could play Defensive Tackle in the NFL. Kinda reminds me of that Big Bulgarian, Lubomir Ganev.
