You did before when you were whining about not getting into Stanford.

Daaaang good one. I'd rather not spend my college days studying 4 hours a day. Mind you I don't drink and VERY rarely go to parties. I'd rather do things worth doing in my free time.

In my opinion, college is what you make of it. A great college doesn't make a great education. A great education comes from the person that goes there. Like I said, I never applied, and i never WANTED to go there.

Anyway here's my two cents or worthless point of view. Even if you go to such universities such as Northwestern, Vanderbilt, Cal, Michigan, Princeton or Stanford you may not have a successful, content and happy life after you graduate. Besides don't most of these people attend very well know institutions for appearance/acceptance sakes and keeping up with the Jones? On the other hand I've known associates, friends and coworkers who are quite successful in their lives and they attended universities such as Chico St, SDSU, LBSU, Kent St, CSUN and even Idaho. A person will be successful regardless if they work hard and they don't lose sight of their dreams or goals regardless what university they attended. Oprah went to Tennessee St and President Carter - didn't even attend in a Southern Ivy league school but went to....Georgia Southwestern College(?). Look how well those two are.
