They all do that..I would only argue on substance ,not style.
Hillary is the front and TOP state department official. It's her role to play the lead.
Just maybe it will all be OK ..
If not ..
Maybe our improved relationship with China ,CUBA and Venezuela will help.
Europe sure was impressed with OBAMA we were told..they should help out more now.

Obama just went to a Democrat fundraiser in Las Vegas, Nevada and now he is on his way to LA for another Democrat fundraiser. It is good there is nothing important going on in the world right now. I see you've come up with a "real issue". Hypocrite.

Yeah, I'm sure he's watching cartoons while he travels around the country. Dude- have you heard of cell phones and laptops? Now get back to the old folks home - Joe Pa is waiting for you to join him for some shuffleboard.

If there is anything we should have learned in the past 50 years, it is that nothing is going to happen with North Korea unless the Chinese allow it to happen. So one way or another, we need to be working with China on this one.
IMO, the biggest danger with N. Korea's nuclear weapons is not that they will use them, it's that they will sell them. Their country is desperately poor.

And they possibly could sell a trigger ready weapon to a terrorist organization. I guess the US (via the CIA) could create a terrorist front organization that attempts to buy these weapons. At least for now, NK is probably only able to produce a very small number of such devices.

I am not quite ready for the old folks home yet, but the energy of my grandkids is soon going to put me there. As old as I am, I surprisingly have heard of cell phones and laptops. I even have a laptop and I get your point. Thanks for keeping the discussion civil. You are a better person than I am.

Anyway, thanks for not getting too offended by my warped sense of humor. I was actually rooting hard for Joe Pa in the Rose Bowl this year ( I live in SoCal and hate SC).

Hey, I never said this was a great idea. Anytime you get into the lesser or two evils game, there may be unintended consequences or bad side effects. Just look at the Government 's bailout of Chrysler. Two Indiana unions are getting hosed, even though they are senior creditors (via their bond holdings), so that another union (the UAW) can get an unfair piece of the bankruptcy pie.

paloalto, what is accomplished by cheapshots such as a "good reading from a teleprompter"? I do not understand why our President is bashed for being able to give a good speech. What on earth is wrong with that? And then Bob hammers him for giving thoughtful responses -- rather than just regurgitating talking points. You know, *thinking* about his responses while he's giving them. Formulating thoughts. Who knew this was a weakness? Obviously, there is nothing wrong with giving good speeches and Obama is an excellent speaker…You miss the point. The point is that Obama needs to do more than give a speech to resolve this problem. I agree with goGopherBill that more time is needed for Obama to come up with a policy position. However any solution must involve more than reading from a teleprompter because that will not get Kim Jong Il’s attention.

You criticize anybody and anything that doesn’t match your partisan views. You viciously attack any opinion you disagree with. You call people names. You call goGopherBill despicable names. Yet, you are offended at the slightest amount of criticism directed toward Obama. I think all people have some double standards. You just take this double standard weakness to an extreme beyond words. You are so partisan in your thoughts that you are intolerant of any other viewpoint. Now go ahead and call me a name… To you, that would be a good response.

I don't want Obama to do much other than give speeches, and I wish his predecessor would have followed the same path. While I'm wishing, I would like to see a good bit of the power taken by the Executive branch (the voluminous bureaucracy of the Alphabet Soup) over the last 80-130 years to be devolved back to the States. I think Congress should craft the laws of this country, and I prefer the President to be an inspirational figurehead who makes important decisions when the need for an immediate response arises. But otherwise, I don't want a President to be legislating from the White House any more than I want a Supreme Court Justice to be legislating from the bench.
Let America be America again.

You harp about "real issues" and then introduce a non-issue. That there is what we call a *relation.* And if it's OK with you, I won't bother answering your alter egos.
