Keep on blaming conservatives and GWB for the economy if you want. The truth of the matter is that all the bad stuff happened on the watch of a Democratic Congress. Yup..and poor wittle Bush and the republican party was too powerless to do anything. Interesting...everyone wants to blame someone but the truth is this country has been headed in this direction for a long time and someone...anyone from both parties should have had the balls and sense to do something about it. You cannot pay an auto worker 70 plus dollars an hour and expect a company to make a profit. It just won't happen. When one single health crisis can wipe out your life savings, something is terribly wrong. We no longer have Henry Fords, the Dodge brothers , or others because our system does not allow new fresh companies to grow and thrive. We are buried with taxes, employee healthcare, and a million other things that drag a company down. No CEO is worth over 500,000 a year .....period. We have made our children feel entitled to a life that is unrealistic and out of their financial reach. . No one from my area will hire anyone under 30 because very few of them have any work ethic. Parents are no longer parenting. They expect the rest of society to support their children when they did a pathetic job raising them. We have so many problems that are so intertwined with one another, I cannot imagine a President knowing where to stop the bleeding first. Obama has a challenge like no other President we have ever had in our history.

Sorry...didn't mean to put out there that Bush or the republican party was solely at fault, just that neither was it solely the democratic party. I'll agree with you here...anyone that tries to put the blame on one party, or only one president is looking at history through some severely skewed glasses. A lot of people from all sides of the aisle screwed the pooch on this one.
