no one can beat Irvine right now, so Irvine Hawaii Loyola Penn state
I think the championship Hawaii vs Irvine will be a great match. Inspired Warriors, vs the best team this year, Irvine. Anybody's match.

Good eye, Mac. I saw the Scoopa and a few others shuffling in w/ all the other fans. The Norm Hutton era looks pretty darn legit so far, I totally agree. He's pretty impressive...glad to see him break into the lineup after tearing it up from the service line. His style is a little throwback...definitely not a high flyer, but excellent timing, great vision and great shot selection. Doesn't hurt too that he has raw power to fall back on. His line shots on the OPP side though are really impressive...barely above the tape, but straight down PAST the block and HARD. Really weird for a 6'7" guy...he can hit low, but clean between seams. Much better OPP than Budinger (never thought I'd say that!)

Whoops, sorry for the rambling. Here are my predictions (pretty much the same as everybody else's): UCI-wins the MPSF w/ a tough 5-gamer against Beach, 4 games against UCLA UH-gets the coveted at large! (haha, Al) Loyola-gross (except for Koz and Grunst) Mason-don't care for phony PSU...hope they lose in the EIVA tourney

MIVA - LOYOLA EIVA - GEORGE MASON MPSF - IRVINE AT LARGE - PEPPERDINE What a homer Doody!! If Pepp gets in they will have to win MPSF with At-Large going to UCI. If UCI wins MPSF, as you have listed, UH will get the At-Large bid.

Bearkitten was the only person to correctly pick the MPSF tournament predicting Irvine to lose to the Beach followed by a UCLA win over the Beach. However, he missed on the EIVA tournament and the MIVA. It does not appear that anyone correctly picked the winners of the three conference tournaments.
