I think I posted about this elsewhere but the issue is that Stanford isn't permitting athletes to live on campus. San Diego will allow them to live, train and prepare outside of the protocols on campus. That said, things are fluid and if the Pac-12 permits fall competition, the school might be in a difficult position. |

Both basketball teams and football are now living on campus. They were with WVB at a nearby hotel.

After reading quotes from Commissioner Scott in the Deseret News and Dan Patrick Show, I do not feel that there'll be much of a push for the Pac 12 to try a shortened Fall VB season.
The rapid-testing Covid-19 machines and readers won't begin to be shipped out to the twelve campuses 'til this Monday. FB prep takes ~six weeks. They're aiming for football: not WVB.
Now, as far as Title IX is concerned, I am sure that the NCAA can configure something.

Pac 12 is hoping for January for volleyball January 22nd (or immediately thereafter) in fact. My comment was re: any potential conflict with Fall residency at that house in San Diego, which was hypothesized. |
