Baird redshirted last year. This coming spring doesn't count toward eligibility. Baird will be in her third season in fall 2021 and technically could be listed as a freshman.
PAC-12 football to become PAC-11. Will Stanford try to join Ivy League football or west coast conference?

After reading quotes from Commissioner Scott in the Deseret News and Dan Patrick Show, I do not feel that there'll be much of a push for the Pac 12 to try a shortened Fall VB season. There won't be a fall NCAA tournament so little incentive for Stanford and most PAC-12 teams to advocate for a fall conference season.

Pac 12 is hoping for January for volleyball That's a big IF right now. A lot depends upon an effective vaccine available around projected Nov 1st date. Santa Clara County (SCC) has been very conservative about opening up indoor businesses. They will be very wary of a 2nd wave due to rainy season and more people indoors. With a vaccine available, some will have already been immunized with many slated to be immunized around the start date. Under that scenario SCC probably would approve indoor competitions on campus. With that said, Stanford could probably schedule home matches offsite somewhere.

Colorado has been going full 6 on 6 practices all summer. Stanford has been the most conservative member of the conference in terms of protocols throughout Covid, as I mentioned way back in the spring with regards to their self imposed travel limit, but I can't imagine the rest of the Pac playing without the reigning champs.

While Stanford had players on campus for awhile cal hasn’t. Makes them more conservative:). Of course cal has had several transfer out 3? Or 4?

Stanford was self imposing restrictions to protect the safety of their community before the rest of the conference adopted those same protocols - even in the early days of Covid. I certainly wasn't denigrating their input. From my perspective, they were a leader. Regarding Cal, last I heard they will be practicing on campus through fall. Stanford currently, and of course this can change, are the only WVB program in the Pac that aren't planning to practice on campus.

Generally considered the top public school in the country, I'll put them in that class. At least 3 really good ones transferred out. That includes the truly odd story (with a happy ending, knock on wood) of a player who gets a seventh year next fall, if she wants it! I know that Cal puts themselves in Stanford's class, although I'm not sure that feeling is reciprocated.

Not to worry Palo Alto we will be staying in the Pac 12. I don't know. Watching these ACC games it's hard to make the case. It can be done and I think that it should. There I said it.

Preslie Anderson and Lauren Forte both go their degrees, and are going to graduate school at Baylor and Florida. Same with Rennie (Marquette), though her impact won't be felt as much as the other two.
