Actually the plan is sports courts Oh, what are sports courts, exactly? Can be used for multiple sports? Aren't they also outdoor courts, if they are outdoors?

Sport court is what they play the final four on. Square plastic tiles that lock together. It’s also what juniors play on when they have big convention center tournaments. In the short term, I imagine it’s ok if they get rained on but they aren’t really intended to be used outdoors.

Actually they are very common outdoors. However volleyball in the rain or still wet is not ideal

Actually they are very common outdoors. However volleyball in the rain or still wet is not ideal Yeah, I probably over-simplified. I don’t think the ones that are used in the final four are built to be rained on consistently (then baked in the sun) but still maintain the quality that you’d want to be playing high level volleyball on. I’ve played on sport court outdoors. Some had small holes for drainage. But the tiles were also slightly warped and had some corners sticking up, which would’ve been bad to dive on. Then again, it was pretty old sport court, so it may be improved now.

In another thread it was mentioned that the press release for the first two cancelled weekends said that Annabelle Smith and McKenna Vicini would be the starters at MB. Is Campbell hurt, or was she beat out?

Smith was the higher-ranked player...sounds like L. Smith.

Is it just me or have there been more injuries than normal? Just in the last couple years or so. Someone is always hurt. Sometimes a few of them are hurt at once.

You’d probably want to put a layer of something sturdy down first. However, field hockey usually wants to play on astroturf, which is much harder. Almost like just having carpet on a hard floor. It would be a great surface to have underneath sport court.

This is my prediction. If Stanford WVB finds team housing accommodations outside Santa Clara County, they will play the minimum number of matches, ten, to qualify for the NCAA tournament. I expect a record of maybe 6-4. That will be enough to get an invite to the tournament based on previous reputation rather than W/L record; which isn't fair to other teams on the bubble.
Stanford will be maybe #47 or #48 in a 48 team field. The #1 regional team they are matched up against in the bracket will complain about having to play Stanford in the first round.

This is a video of Cameron Brink playing Stanford basketball. She has the coordination and agility for someone at 6'4" height. She could be good at MB, the position she played during her prep days.
