Getting into Princeton as a transfer would be impossible anyway IMO. They don’t tag your application “good at volleyball” in the Ivy. Depends. The recent admissions scandal made it pretty public. Many of the "selective" schools set aside as much as 25% at the bottom of each class for recruited athletes. Without those set-aside slots, the scandal would not have worked. It's the very policy that they were exploiting. The Ivy does not reward athletic scholarships is more what I'm referring to.

Not a bad draw for Stanford. Let’s see how the serve receive and defense hold up!

Prove me wrong, Stanford. Please!
I guessed they'd go 13-7, in conference. They proved me right.
I guessed (way before todays' draw), they wouldn't make it beyond the 2nd round.
Prove me wrong, Stanford!!!

I think it's a tough draw for the Card. To make it to the FF, they have to pull it together against, Minnesota...Baylor....and Wisconsin. I also think the bottom half of the bracket is super tough - both sides. I think the championship match will come from 2 teams in the bottom half. Just my personal opinion, folks.

I think Card have a decent shot against Minny but it's sad that Samedy would have to lose in the second round for Card to advance

My comment was based off the sub regional. I think the Card have a decent chance against Minnesota. Obviously, Samedy will be tough to stop and idk about the floor D. Honestly, it would’ve been preferable to get a crack at Creighton though

Minnesota handled Stanford pretty easily earlier in the year. Francis wasn't playing then, but still. And will be at Minnesota. Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath.

However, Kipp was fire in conference play, and I feel like Baird's passing and serving have steadied out. Plus, not having Berty on the court for nearly as many rotations is a huge upgrade. It will be interesting to see if Lougeay plays, but I kinda like having Kipp on the Bic as an option but serve receive could be suspect. Minnesota is also a pin heavy team, so it will be interesting to see them slug it out. MN definitely has an edge in floor defense

I agree with 16-4. Could have happened.

For the Card to take out Minnesota, Samedy needs to have a poor showing like she did in 2019 (against Plummer's team), and the "floor D" needs to start hauling it. Cut down on unforced errors too.

One year that Minnesota was sent to Stanford’s sub-regional, they didn’t even play Stanford… they lost to Sacramento State’s GOAT team in the first round. The Card had best not look past their first-round opponent this season.

It seemed to work out ok for the most part.
