Uh... I get that she still has room to grow. But seriously, take a look at her numbers. 3.77kps on .337 hitting %, 1.01 bps, and leading the team in serving. It only gets better in conference play: just about 4kps on .355 hitting % and 1.11 bps. Sure, she may not be at her full potential yet, but I ain't complaining. True! She’s got some great numbers this year against good competition
I think if Kipp stays consistent, and Caitie and Sami elevate their game, this team has a chance to make it to regionals. Of course, the backrow D has to get hauling.

I'd love to see Hentz as a volunteer assistant coach next season.

How do we think Francis would do against Samedy? I'm worried about both our middles closing the block too. Although A. Smith was pretty good at closing, getting blocks. She looked in decent shape against Cal. I know it's Cal, but at least she's another option...
I hate to say it...but I think Samedy is going to have her way around Sami. I'm just hoping Sami and our MB can manage to get some touches on her swings.

I second the strength training comment. Something needs to happen there because the number of injuries this team gets is insane... Strength training doesn't prevent concussions or ankle sprains Strengthening the muscles around your ankle helps to prevent sprains. Balance training can help too.

I agree. Shame that Minnesota and Stanford could meet to decide that.

Plummer was arguably the best offensive pin hitter in NCAA history, replacing her isn't really possible. Kendall has absolutely shown how she can dominate against very good competition, I hope she continues that in the tournament.

There’s a poster over in one of the Hawaii threads saying that Riley Wagoner needs to be hitting at an average of a .450 clip in order to be relevant 😂

I mean, anyway to sneak Hentz back in now under a 5th year covid thing?

LOL. I'd settle for having Hentz on the sideline filling these kids with encouragement.

Is Stanford going to have an issue with the tournament number of players cap? If so, who gets left out? Do they still attend, but out of uniform?

I heard one of the broadcasters, from one of the B10 matches, say the NCAA changed the rules so no team members are left out. I just don't know if that meant they could all be in uniform.

The bottom of page 5 of this thread says 15 players in uniform. volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/87283/fall-2021-ncaa-national-tournament
