Yes, unless she comes out early. I don't know if there is any strong rumors tying her to Stanford, but she reminds me somwhat of Rachel Williams -- sort of the same height, build, and hops. start the rumors...

I agree, we need a top middle for 2023. Might be too late, though.
But very happy with Blyashov. In the few instances I have seen her play in U18, thought she played better than Nebraska’s recruit Harper Murray.
Hopefully with Mike Johnson around, recruiting will improve more!!

Harvey is a 2023 and the comparison to Rachel Williams is on point. She’s a 6’1 OH.
She seems to be following Sami Francis and Kami Miner on instagram, which is a good sign.

Don't really follow high school ball, but best I remember from a couple of articles I read Williams never really got serious about back court work until her senior year (of high school), and it was never a strong point for her.

Hmm, I always liked Rachel Williams. But to be honest, there were often times I preferred Morgan Boukather. Rubin, Blyashov, and Harvey I guess is a nice pin trio. But does it sound a bit too much like Burgess, Howard, and Williams? That's not a bad thing, but where are 1st team AA's Inky and Wopat on the current roster and immediate future? I loved those pin players, but without those middles, those 2013-2014 teams would've been very average. Sorry if I'm sounding negative. Just spit-balling thoughts here. And without Burgess & Howard's passing, we would have never been able to actually run the middle. I think we take for granted how good those 2013/2014 teams were because they got knocked out by Penn State, but they played some amazing volleyball IMO.

There is a USAV qualifier in Chicago this weekend. Rubin and Belardi’s LA Sunshine 18 team is participating. Their team won the first SoCal PVL tournament of the club season so they should be competitive. The top three finishers get bids to USAV nationals. If anyone is at the tournament your evaluation would be appreciated. I watched their 2021 Marymount high school team twice. I hope Rubin will start at OH for Stanford because there are limits for a DI college team with two OHs who are subpar in passing. If Rubin doesn’t start at OH, I would choose Belardi over Rubin for DS based on what I saw at the high school games. Did you get to watch them in Chicago? No, I didn't watch them. They won the tournament and got a bid to USAV nationals. Prepvolleyball.com said both Rubin and Belardi were top performers. I plan to attend an 18s SoCal PVL tournament this coming weekend and will give an update on Rubin if there is anything worth reporting.

They said she NEVER played defense or passed. I never said defense was her strong suit, but she was a solid six rotation player for two of her years on the Farm. So, yeah...
