I like how Stanford’s next opponent is “No. 5 Houston.”

I like how Stanford’s next opponent is “No. 5 Houston.” assuming Stanford gets past Houston (fingers crossed that they do 🤞🏻), do they have a better chance against Kentucky or San D?

Kentucky is more physical and fiery. Tealer is a special talent. San Diego has more height, is more consistent and doesn't commit lots of errors. Remember that the Plummer-led Stanford back then eliminated Blossom and her Penn State squad twice in two regionals hosted by Stanford. This could be a motivation. With that being said, I think Stanford has better chance against Kentucky than San Diego.

That's a fun name. Babi Gubbins. Yeah, I posted about her twice months back: once to answer some poster's query about her basics; the other one to mention that she had expressed interest in a few schools at that time...including Stanford.

That's a fun name. Babi Gubbins. I've never seen her play in person, so I don't have a very qualified opinion. Also, only saw videos of her hitting, not back row (passing/digging). But from the videos I have seen, I would not expect her to see playing time at Stanford. I hope I am proven wrong.

Gubbins is def one of those players that was waaaay more physical at a young age, but then sort of tapered off as other players caught up. TBH, I definitely still think she'll be solid Stanford material, but I don't think she's at that "best player in her class by a long shot" type of range quite anymore. Reminds me a bit of the Haggerty's, and as we know, their careers all panned out just fine!

I would love a Molly haggerty at Stanford. hopefully one that doesn't publicly support a serial abuser tho, not really my personal style
