I disagree and think it has already had some effect. In recent years, a handful of potential recruits have made it clear form the get go they want to stay in the B1G to be able to play against the best competition. This is while the PAC was the number 2 conference. It will have even more impact if the Pac stays and is at an even weaker level. I agree. My worry is becoming like the old Texas. Strong teams but not challenged during conference leading to poor results in the tourney. I would question the definition of poor results. 16 out of the last 17 Elite Eights. I understand more was expected of several of those teams, but the result shouldn’t be labeled as poor. Similar to last year’s Stanford team.

Stanford to the SEC. I called it first. Lol. Stanford to the B1G isn't necessarily a big help for volleyball, but maybe some. I mean, if it turns out there is a West division with the likes of Nebraska, Wisky, Minny, Stanford, Oregon, U-Dub, UCLA and USC, that's pretty strong. Where it could really help Stanford is in attendance at home football games. Of course, many or the fans would be supporting the opposing team, but at least the stadium would look full until sometime in the 3rd quarter.

I just want another natty I hope Stanford goes far this year and was upset when they lost in the final four last year. I didn't think it was a good idea to go to Kipp non stop at the end of that match even though she was their go to hitter since she was getting blocked and everyone knew where the ball was going. Stanford is really getting itself back there, I just don't want to jinx it.

Wasn’t the final four yeah against UCSD ( I meant regional final), I am just hoping they get back their household name in volleyball like they did in 80-2000s

Okay, I get it, I got my acronyms wrong...lol, I thought SD was part of the UC but they are two different schools USD is in the WCC with Saint Mary’s, Santa Clara, the USF in San Francisco, Pacific, Gonzaga and Portland (not Portland State). As for confusion, there’s also San Diego State in Mission Valley and UCSD in La Jolla. Before 1968, when UCSD added undergraduate education and changed its name, it was UCLJ and had no sports teams.

Stanford left with Cal / OSU / WSU.... yikes. Sports-wise, they could join the WCC… but the snobs would never go for that. They’d sooner kill sports, declaring it beneath Stanford just as the University of Chicago declared the B10 to be. As a major participant in creating state-ordered disinformation, Stanford could start having meetings to tell everyone what the “truth” is and to denounce deplorables that do not agree. Its impeccable ties to the FBI, CIA, NSA and Homeland Security… and the traditional media, and Big Tech… are on prominent display. Stanford claims it is NOT political… that is why I can talk about it… it is about defining “truth” and promulgating it to the heathen, whose job it is to swallow it whole.

I mean, I wouldn't want to go from a power 5 to a mid-major either if I'm Stanford...
