If anyone finds a replay of the CSU match let me know. Missed it. It's on Mountain West Network, which is free. It will probably be in the archives tomorrow. The CSU match vs Kentucky is there now.

Colorado State just beat Kentucky and Florida just beat Penn State. Next 2 matches are going to be tough without Kipp/Baird, not to mention @texas next weekend. Well, PSU just lost another match to a supposedly weaker squad (0-2 now). Colorado State was a fine match; they certainly will not be chopped liver in their MW conference. Kipp was a coin-toss decision today; she had her right knee substantially more taped than her left. If she comes out of the match with no major aftereffects, she'll be viewed as "most probable" for Tuesday vs. UF. Happy she played well!

Kipp was fantastic today, glad she wasn’t slowed down by her minor injury. Baird not being in a boot is promising for the rest of the season as well, but Blyashov was a fine sub this weekend

There’s no telling how good Long Beach ends up being this year. It’s more the way Texas looked while losing. And frankly, while they were better against LMU, they weren’t THAT much better. Texas plays Minnesota in the Maturi Pavilion on Tuesday. I give UT’s chances of winning that match in the single digits. I fully expect Stanford to crush Texas at this point. Right now I think Rice will present a bigger challenge two days later. Not in terms of talent, but just in terms of how the respective teams are playing. But we’ll know more after Tuesday.

I've known athletes that keep retweaking those kinds of injuries all season long. She'll help on the attack, in the service game, and in terms of on court leadership. All 3 of those are probably bigger than her block.

Will Ipar be get red shirted?
It's quite strange to me that she didn't made her debut when Baird was not available. Even Blyashov starts, she could come in for some minutes.

Some thoughts on the weekend:
These were better opponents than you might think. Both made the tournament last year. CSU beat Kentucky who is top 10. But I think you also saw a difference in just raw physicality.
Rubin looked great in both matches. Just looked like she jumped a bit higher and hit a bit harder. Maybe she was just more confident and assertive. Passed almost half the serves. Led the team in digs. Just looked like she took a big step up with experience.
Kipp looked insane in the one match. I didn't think she could look better than last year but she hit some pretty radical angles. She looked dialed in.
Blyashov looked really good. Haven't seen the passing stats but looked good to my eye. Only hit 273 but looked good given her first couple of starts. Would rather have the 5th year senior Baird of course, but we can compete with Blyashov.
Francis had some nice stats. 2.57 KPS hitting 389. But didn't look that athletic to me. Was hoping for more. Maybe my expectations were too high.
Looking forward to Tuesday.

As a true freshman Rubin hit 230 as an OH. This compares to other not tall enough true freshman OH like Kipp who hit 223 and Francis who hit 188. You are correct in that she is a bit undersized to play the OH position at Stanford. However, her passing and defense is simply one of the best I've seen in Club for the past several years. Yes she plays left side in Club but her back row skills is why she is so coveted Nationally. I believe she will be a phenomenal libero if Stanford indeed lands her. Who is the player?

I’m starting to think they only archive matches they win… On the stream, after EVERY Stanford winning point, the broadcast would only "cut" to the CSU players.
