Just checking stats after the match commenced...but Kevin seems to be putting Blyashov's and Harvey's feet-to-the-fire, from the get go. Is Kipp injured? Is Baird, since she is in street clothes? Guess we will find out tomorrow. no idea but not a good sign that neither of them start the first match of the year... maybe its a tactic from hambly to get the freshman comfy before they go through that brutal stretch of preseason matchups where they may be needed? idk but I dont feel good about that edit : BAIRD IS IN A BOOT R U KIDDING ME |

I think Blyashov was good but I missed parts of the match so I can’t say |

2015- Inky injured and out for the season + Burgess playing injured most of the season
2016- Hodson injured and out of the season
2019- Plummer (ended up coming back)
2020- L. Smith
2021- Campbell?
2022- Francis (ended up coming back)
2023- Kipp and Baird??

Kipp looked more then ready to go. I expect the coach decided to throw the frosh in. Baird was wearing her spandex, c’mon now.

My guess is that Kipp has a chronic knee issue and Hambly is trying to limit jumps to get her through the season. As far as I know she didn't play much in Europe during the summer trip. Not sure about the scrimmage since I wasn't there, but when she was on the court, did Miner shy away from setting her? |

Colorado State just beat Kentucky and Florida just beat Penn State. Next 2 matches are going to be tough without Kipp/Baird, not to mention @texas next weekend.
