Maggie Mendelson (Nebraska) is in the portal. Now this is big. I remember before she committed to Nebraska, Stanford apparently was one of the other finalists until it was clear that she won’t be allowed to play both basketball and volleyball at Palo Alto. We definitely need another middle.. I hope Stanford will try to pursue her. In the meantime, Nebraska has lost 2 back up players already to the portal. I mean Kami miner started following her and she followed Kami back. Weren’t they already following each other because they played with each other on the junior national team? What is more telling is what volleyball programs she is following and last I checked (this afternoon), Stanford was not one of them. |

Has Mandelson been injured or she’s just been beaten out? She was so highly recruited and has not seen the floor much. Still remember being annoyed when she picked Nebraska over Stanford lol

Still remember being annoyed when she picked Nebraska over Stanford lol she was just beat out, imo the combination of graduating highshcool early and only being able to practice vb for half the year has delayed her potential |

And the "tea" is that she plans to focus solely on volleyball moving forward. |

So honest question and maybe a little naive ..
so in prep ... if they take a while to commit ... it's a good sign they're waiting to get into Stanford... is it the same as Transfer... Mandelson not getting nabbed up right away (like i think she would) does that mean she's waiting for Stanford to admit her?

Cawa making the Under Armour All American game makes me feel a little better about our back court in the future. Hopefully she turns out to be a stud. I’m assuming she’ll be the starting libero in 2025 once Oglivie is gone?
